About Lindsay

Lindsay Kristine Mahía is an Acuto Sfogato Coloratura Soprano whose range spans 4 octaves from E3 (below middle 'C') to E7 (above the 6th ledger line). She has been referred to as a "true coloratura" with "crystalline notes that sparkle" above the music staff. Mrs. Mahía brings a "brilliance" to her performances with an "effortless" upper extension to her vocal register.

Lindsay is most notably recognized for her role of the doll, Olympia, singing "Les Oiseaux dans la Charmille" (The Doll Song) from Les Contes d'Hoffman, Cunégonde singing "Glitter and be Gay" from Candide, and Gilda's aria "Caro Nome" from the opera Rigoletto.

A Miami, Florida native who now resides in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Lindsay enjoys performing throughout the eastern seaboard. She reprised her role for a second year as a soloist with the Miami City Ballet during their performances of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” where she had the pleasure of singing at the Arsht, Broward, and Kravis Centers. Lindsay was also a featured vocalist in the Greater Boston area showcasing a Neo-Classical Symphonic work that included recording the piece in studio and is a regular guest artist in the Massachusetts Cranberry Coast Concerts Summer music festival.

This November, she will return to Miami to premiere in the full theatrical production of Marilyn Morales' hit musical "Always Remember."
